Many organic compounds dissolved in water absorb UV light. Therefore, the content of dissolved organic pollutants in water can be accurately measured by measuring the degree of absorption of these organic substances to 254nm wavelength ultraviolet light.

Apure COD-208 online COD sensor adopts two light sources, one ultraviolet light is used to measure the COD content in water, and one reference light is used to measure the water turbidity. In addition, the optical path attenuation is compensated by a specific algorithm and can eliminate the granularity to a certain extent. The interference of suspended matter impurities, so as to achieve a more stable and reliable measurement.
